Hazy days
The last few days have passed in a bit of a haze. Ed’s kidney stone is on the move, but it’s a slow process and unless he keeps sedated up to the eyeballs, is excruciatingly painful.
Consequently, he’s been dosing up daily and nightly, and the days have passed in a soporific haze. For him, at any rate.
Hopefully all will be well, since we’re due to drive up to Scotland – some 300 miles – on Sunday. We’re going two thirds of the way on Sunday, then the remainder on Monday, for a mid-week break. Back home on Friday/Saturday.
Should be a good break if a) the rain in Scotland stops – they were waist-deep in floods this last week, and b) we manage to keep Ed out of hospital.
Isn’t life fun?
